I provide holistic health coaching through Integrative Nutrition.
I come from a yoga background, where the science behind the body and mind connection literally changed my life. As I formed this part of my health, it helped me to find peace with my body and to really look at what I was ingesting both through food nutrition, but also what I was ingesting in the environment around me.
This is what formed my desire for Integrative Nutrition.
We'll look at both what you consume and do in the world around you, and how that plays a part in what you consume nutritionally. Together we'll discuss your goals and unique nutritional needs and then form a plan to build the habits that will get you to those goals, while you're being supported every step of the way.
I began with Dani Wendel Yoga and continue that passion today, individually to yoga clients, or to accentuate a health coaching plan that perfectly suits you.

My journey with nutrition started after a very deep struggle with mental illness, particularly after the birth of my daughter. I was looking everywhere I could for help in all of the places that the world tells you can help. Under such a giant onslaught of medications, I felt like I lost myself, but that there was no other option to improve my quality of life . (Please note: I am still a major advocate and beneficiary of medication to treat mental illness, but I am also an advocate of holistic methods to help the brain and body in conjunction with medication if that fits your current circumstances and doctor recommendations.)
I finally decided to try yoga and that journey and process led to completely changing my life. The science behind yoga has always been a major passion of mine and part of what I take to my clients. I am a 200-RYT, in the process of achieving my 500-RYT. From what I gained in yoga, I was able to look deeper into what I consumed both in the world around me and nutritionally. I had gained so much weight from my medications and situation, that I had almost lost hope; yoga and a holistic approach to diet changed everything. I knew from a deep, 15 year darkness, what kind of hope and health both yoga and nutrition could give someone. I had to give this back. I had to give to people what this experience gave me.
This brought me to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition where I became certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a member of the IAHC. I studied over 100 dietary theories and added to the understanding that what I consume in the world around me plays directly into what I consume, and how I process food, nutritionally.
